IR Taxi Squad

Out for a while, so not ranked this week. The number is his rest-of-season rank if healthy, where he slots the week he's back; the note is why.

PlayerPosTmROS rank if healthyWasRisk
Josh Jacobs
Commissioner's exempt list, no timetable (first court date Nov. 17). 38th is where he'd rank if he were playing; the squad is the calendar.
RB GB #38 — High
Jordyn Tyson
IR with a designation to return: hamstring, at least four games, about two months per NFL Network. 33rd is the player; the squad is the calendar.
WR NO #46 #120 High
Jayden Daniels
Dislocated elbow; practicing this week and back within three weeks per Rapoport, Mariota in London Sunday.
QB WAS #65 #65 Medium
Jordan Mason
Thumb fracture, on IR, at least four games; Aaron Jones has the room until October.
RB MIN #74 #77 Low
Alec Pierce
Aggravated the surgically repaired heel Sunday night and went on IR Wednesday: at least four weeks, no timetable, and the plan is to return this season.
WR IND #75 #75 Medium
Travis Etienne
Hamstring in the third quarter against the Raiders; Moore says "time lost," which has meant weeks. 13 for 57 before it; Kamara leads until he's back.
RB NO #76 #76 Low
De'Zhaun Stribling
Ankle surgery, out close to ten weeks. 80th if healthy is the player; the roster spot is your league's call, and the Ledger says it's fine to drop him.
WR SF #80 #144
Dallas Goedert
MCL sprain in Week 2, likely out a few weeks. Two scores in Week 1 said the red-zone role is real; 88th is where he comes back.
TE PHI #88 #91 Low
Jonah Coleman
High-ankle sprain, on IR, first eligible Oct. 25 against Arizona.
RB DEN #121 #121
Zach Charbonnet
On IR, coming back from the ACL. This is an injury stash, not a role: Price and Holani have the room until he's activated, and the 150th slot is the price of being early.
RB SEA #131 #150 High
Jonathan Brooks
Core-muscle surgery, on IR, November at the earliest. Hubbard has the backfield.
RB CAR #138 #138 Medium
Baker Mayfield
Dislocated the thumb on his throwing hand; Bowles says about three weeks. Jalon Daniels starts. Outside the 150 if healthy right now.
QB TB #160 #149
The Flags

Risk is a judgment call, not a model output: Low, Medium or High. Every flag comes with the reason.

The SB MVP - he was the centerpiece of the offense on Monday. He showed why he is so good and the explosive upside in this offense. Jumps a tier immediately.
#7
Age + injury history. Elite if healthy; not a first-round pick for me since I am more risk averse in first round. Playing it safe with an Amon Ra vs the risk of CMC - the risk here is lose your season. Amon Ra is stable and my preference.
#9
The player you never want to bet against, but he is getting up there in age. Father time is undefeated, and I fear taking young studs over him in case Father time, decides it is time.
#13
Two games missed with the hip; McVay is hopeful for Sunday at Philadelphia. High risk is the hip, not the player. The model has him 6th and he goes back toward it the week he plays.
#14
Really good this year especially without Tyson to start. He was the WR3 last year down the stretch.
#16
15 carries for 82 back from the stinger, 79% of the backfield, in a 27-7 loss. The Eagles scored 7; the role is intact.
#20
10 targets, 9 for 194 with Penix back, after 4 and 5 targets with Rush. The quarterback was the whole problem. Medium risk because it's one game at that share.
#21
The split is over: 21 of 27 carries, Allgeier 2, after 11-to-17 and 9-to-5, plus 5 catches and a score. I held him through the slow start; this is why. The model is at 44 and will catch up. I'm not waiting.
#22
13 targets, 10 for 107 and a score; WR10 on my board, and the Jets' offense goes through him with Hall out and Mitchell hurt. Medium risk is a 35-year-old quarterback, not the role.
#25
RB1 in a Ben Johnson offense! Sign me up. We know Swift is talented, and I think he dominates especially as Monangai is week to week.
#27
Model LOVES Parker. I had to drag him down to account for some of the risk. I think he crushes though. He has the work ethic, and he is playing for a contract. TLaw loves him also.
#28
147 yards and two scores on 8 targets. Risk High is the knee history and a target tree with Golden at 12 and Kraft at 6.
#29
13 targets, 7 for 137 with Nacua out, after 8 for 195. Two weeks as the whole passing game; Nacua's return Sunday is the only reason he isn't higher.
#35
Quad, week to week, likely out at Chicago. 13 carries for 32 before it. Inside the top 40 because the role is his when he's back; the model's 51 is pricing the week he misses.
#36
15 carries for 46, 71% of the backfield, and a run-first month ahead with Daniels at quarterback. The model has him 14th; I'm at 37 because the offense around him just got worse, not because the role did.
#37
The model loves Tee Higgins this year as the offense should crush. Let this be his ceiling. He is always hurt, if you told me he would play a full season, I would have him up a tier easily. I don't buy it, so for me he sits with Nabers at questions.
#38
7 targets, 2 catches for 10 Sunday night after 8 for 138. Nix threw 34 times and found Harvey (7 targets) and Sutton. Medium risk; the week-to-week is wide.
#39
6 targets, 5 for 26 with Winston throwing 22 times in a 12-7 win. Dart is on IR for the year; this is the offense now. High risk is the quarterback.
#40
A.J. Brown Medium
Couldn't ask for much of a better fit for AJB than Maye, as accurate as they get. Health and age are his only questions, but I think he has another good season in him.
#42
20 carries for 60 and 4 targets, 61% of the backfield, in a 12-7 win. The Giants run with Winston at quarterback; the role is as safe as the offense is ugly.
#45
12 of 40 targets in a 42-attempt game with no run game. One game, so I'm a quarter of the way there, not all the way.
#46
9 targets, 5 for 62 Sunday, and then Mayfield dislocated his thumb. An undrafted rookie starts for about three weeks. High risk is the quarterback for a month; the targets are still his.
#47
DJ Moore Medium
10 targets, 6 for 67, back from the shoulder; 8 for 100 and a score in Week 1. Josh Allen's first read when he's on the field. Medium risk is the AC joint.
#49
20 of 24 for 246 and two scores at Miami, after 382; 812 yards and 7 touchdowns in three games. Top-five quarterback on my board; the model is still working off 2025's touchdown rate.
#50
6 targets, 3 for 34 and a score on the hip he was questionable with all week. High risk is the hip and the age in a receiver room that's thin with Robinson out.
#52
Middle-tier WR2, not the WR5 the volume implied. I am afraid to be wrong.
#53
15 carries for 73 and a score; 15, 13, 15 over three weeks, 50% of the carries with Rodriguez at 6 and 8. The explosive back in the pair gets the touchdowns; the split is the ceiling.
#56
19 of 23 carries for 82 and 4 catches, 83% of the room with Brooks on IR. The job is his for the first time, and Carolina's offense is alive.
#57
11 targets, 7 for 61 and a score with Keenum, 32% of the targets. The backup throws to the slot. The model (23) is ahead of me; I want a second game of it.
#60
6 targets, 65 yards, and he just got paid. Risk High for the health history, not the role.
#61
Back from the ankle to 16 of 28 carries and the touchdown; Stevenson 6. The split I expected is already tilting his way.
#62
9 targets for 45. The volume behind St. Brown is real; risk Medium is the boom-or-bust shape.
#63
7 targets, 6 for 82 and two scores; three straight weeks up (5, 4, 7 targets). The slow ramp is over.
#64
7 targets, 6 catches and a score Thursday after 8 targets in Week 1. Healthy and used; the flag is the history, not the role.
#70
17 carries for 58 and 6 targets for 34, 74% of the backfield with Mason on IR, and the first game with passing-down work (5 catches). High risk is the knee he played through, and the age.
#72
No targets Sunday; 2 carries for 14 and the trick-play touchdown. High risk because the role is whatever Shanahan draws up that week, and Kittle and Evans are taking the targets.
#73
9 targets, a touchdown, and 32 years old. The rookie is coming for the second-target job. Risk Medium.
#81
Josh Downs Medium
11 targets for 77 after 9 for 72, with Pierce on IR for at least four weeks. The slot volume is his for a month.
#84
12 carries for 33 and 2 targets in an offense that couldn't move. The volume needs the game script and the script isn't coming. Risk High.
#86
19 carries for 36 in a 33-31 loss to Seattle, 59% of the backfield. The volume is there; 1.9 a carry in Mariota's offense isn't.
#91
Ten carries in each game, 100 yards and a score, then 47, behind Swift's 18 and 16. With Caleb week to week and Keenum in line for Monday night, the carries may go up while the points don't; a flex with a High flag.
#92
Mayfield dislocated his throwing thumb and an undrafted rookie starts for about three weeks. 3 catches for 25 on 4 targets Sunday; the floor just dropped for a month.
#97
17 carries for 49 back from the hamstring, 68% of the room, with Harvey the passing-down back (2 carries, 7 targets) and Coleman on IR. First in the order; High risk is the medical file.
#100
5 targets for 11; Bryant led the room with 6 and Waddle had 3. Risk Medium: the share is split three ways now.
#101
17 carries for 74 and 4 catches, 81% of the backfield; Spears 3. The Titans ran 21 times in a 12-7 loss, so it's a big share of a small pie.
#111
One target and 23 snaps, to Washington's and Meyers's 50, with no injury designation. That's a coaching decision in a 35-6 win. Medium risk until the snaps come back.
#116
Missed camp time; slow start, better back half
#125
5 targets for 43 plus 3 carries, in a Browns offense that threw 22 times. Risk Medium is the offense.
#126
Talented, but extensive injury history. More of a committee than people expect
#138
If Healthy

Held down or off the board while out. Where each would slot the week he's back: a band, not a rank.

Breece Hall RB · NYJ
Quad, week to week, likely out at Chicago. 13 carries for 32 before it. Inside the top 40 because the role is his when he's back; the model's 51 is pricing the week he misses.

Out for the Season

Off the board for good this year, with the reason. Not the taxi squad: nobody here is coming back to a rank.
